| I am a stay at home mom of two. My son is 3 and my daughter is 18 months. We started cloth diapering after my daughter was born and I quickly fell in love with all the diapers that I found on-line. Despite the love of all this fluff, something was lacking.
As my daughter began to out grow her smalls and my son began to use his big boy potty, sorting all the inserts, doublers and sized diapers became annoying. I realized that I needed to do a little more research to find something that would be more useful, more versatile. I found nothing.

| While talking with my mom one day, ok, griping, we started talking about making training pants for my son. This conversation evolved into making diapers.
What I needed was a multipurpose cloth tool. Yes, like the utility knife that you use for everything, I needed a diaper that could do everything, for both children. Thus, the utility diaper idea was born. Through some intense research and many, many, many pattern drafts, we unfolded what we think to be one of the most useful diapers available. Honestly.

| With my mom's sewing knowledge and my diaper knowledge, I ordered my first round of fabrics. Oh how soft and fluffy. She carried samples around with her everywhere and made strangers feel the organic bamboo velour. I described the diapers as “wrapping your babies bum in love” to my friends.

| The choice of using bamboo fabrics was very simple, and once you feel them, you’ll understand. Besides feeling absolutely wonderful against the skin, bamboo is also a fabric that is eco-friendly and has many beneficial properties, such as being anti-fungal and anti-microbial. So, not only are these products good for baby, they’re good for the environment and your pocket book. What’s not to love?
