Everything offered by Bamboo Bums is hand made, not factory made, so items may vary slightly from one to another. I stand completely behind our craftsmanship and all items are guaranteed for 60 days from the date of purchase.

 CPSIA (Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act)

In an effort to comply with the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) of 2008, we have further researched all of our raw materials to ensure their compliance.

While a one year stay was issued, and we do not have to go forward with third party testing, we want you to be able to purchase our products with confidence.

We currently either hold or have access to the certificates for each of the components that we use to create our wonderful eco-fluff. The testing was done post manufacturing of the component, prior to our purchasing the item(s). If you need reassurance that our product is “safe” please contact me at laura@bamboobums.com and I will be more than happy to answer your questions.

 So, please rest assured that we will continue to monitor all of our product components and make changes accordingly if we feel that we are, in some way, not complying with the law. Additionally, we created these products with our own children in mind, and continue to use these products ourselves. We would never want to harm our kids, or yours.

Privacy

Our customers are our gems. We value you more than anything and will never sell or share our customer information with anyone.

Repairs and Defects
All repair decisions will be under the discretion of Bamboo Bums. Please contact us with a description of the defect prior to shipping, so we can discuss the best way to repair your item. In all cases, we will attempt to fix the defect before exchanging it for a new product. If the defect cannot be repaired satisfactorily, we will issue an equal exchange for the defected product.

For repairs within the 60 day guarantee period, we will reimburse you for any shipping cost you incur. After 60 days, we are happy to make minor wear-and-tear fixes; however, you must pay for shipping charges.

Returns and Exchanges
Returns and exchanges are accepted on unused/unwashed items within 14 days of receipt, less shipping. A refund will be issued when item has been received by me. 

Please contact me before sending it back for a return merchandise code and make sure your code is clearly visable on your return merchandise. If you return a package with out a code, your item will not be accepted , returned to sender and no refund will be issued.

Miscellaneous
Our home environment is smoke free. We take great care to store fabrics and products in a protected environment. However, we do have a cat friendly home, and they seem to be everywhere at all times. Our fabrics are stored in plastic bins, out of reach from animals and children. All finished items are pre-washed before being put into storage in an attempt to get rid of all cat hair and/or dander; however there may be a stray hair or two on your items. Thank you for your understanding.

If you do have feline allergies, please let me know and I will wash your order before it is shipped.

At this time, we are only shipping to the United States.

Payments

While I prefer paypal for it's simplicity, I realize not everyone is a fan. I accept credit cards through paypal only at this time; However you can also pay by personal check or money order. When paying by one of these methods please make the check or money order out and send to:

If your check or money order is not received with in 5 business days of your order, your order will be cancelled. Additionally, your order will be held until your check clears and if your check bounces, your order will be frozen until you have paid your order total plus all applicable fees via paypal. Your account will also be issued a $25 returned check fee, which you will be responsible for paying in addition to order total, shipping and bank fees incured by Bamboo Bums.
